My niece Serena was baptized two weekends ago, during an Easter vigil service (picture above). I was happy to be there as her godmother! I finished her quilt just in time for the service — including completing the binding during the plane trip to Boston. Sewing on an airplane definitely gets you some looks, but sitting in a seat for 3+ hours is a pretty efficient way to finish a quilt!

This is my first patchwork quilt with traditional blocks, so I’m pretty excited it’s done!
